"I am on a Guided journey and a race!" Many challenges come along the pathway of life and at times seamed that the journey and the race was going to end abruptly and the only option was to quit - Not So - and to prove it, I can virtually say that I have risen from a wheel chair in 1987 (the wheel chair the doctors sentenced me to for the remainder of my life) and again risen from the dead in 1997 (when doctors suspected sure death within a few years by cancer) and today I am here alive and well grateful to Almighty God that is Guiding me to write the story and events as they evolved along the way.
Words alone cannot describe what saved me so far, or what guided me along the hills and valleys of life to let me continue living this life. I can stipulate on a name among Guided Power, Master Power, Inner Master, God Within or any other names that us humans like to address them with, but when I was asked by a friend to tell her about my life story, she promptly say to me, Nick that is “Guided Power” and has been within you since birth, that Guided Power has watched over you along the way to save you.
So far I survived to see both my boys (Mimmo and Tony) grow up to become men and today they are 37 and 33 years of age respectively, they got married and have kids of they own, (4 adorable grandchildren Alessandro, Alyssa, Dimitrios and Payton, Tony’s step daughter).
Have survived by living a noble lifestyle as best as my intelligence, know how and abilities with love and gratitude in my heart. By 1989 after two years of rehabilitation I was nut just walking normally, but I actually managed to take running one hour and more a day. I 1997 I was fortunate to embraced a healthy living lifestyle with a complete vegetarian lifestyle in 1998, soon after I moved on to become 100% Vegan by 2009.
Celebrated the arrival of the year 2000 by taking an early retirement package from my last work place (TTC) at 54 and by November of the same year went away for a 5 month holiday to our paradise on earth (Hawaii) and build my own two room cabin on a hilly coffee farm owned by a brother from another mother. Practicing meditation as diligent as I possibly can (this is one way I use to remember God Love everyday).
Traveled extensively in Canada and in many USA states such as NV, CA, NY, FL, VI, MI, GA. Went to Soul (Korea), Taipei (Taiwan), traveled to Thailand (I stay 2 months in Bangkok and 2 months on the beach of beautiful and natural Koh Sumui island) and recently (2008) traveled to France and Italy (my 3rd time since emigrating to Canada).
Living a noble lifestyle has been a norm for me for many years now, while walking, running, traveling, researching and enjoying life as best as the circumstances allowed;
Now while writing notes of my colorful and Guided journey, I think back remembering!
Here we are in 2009 at 63 years of age, enjoying great health, surviving and running. My race is a long way from being over. Come and join me on my Guided journey from a desperate move from southern part of Italy to north Italy and then to Germany; From Germany to Canada; From the prospect of confined to a wheel chair to running; From being told that cancer would kill me to living in optimum health; From being an avid smoker and drinker, meat, fish and eggs eater to become 100% Vegan and from being lonely and desperate to becoming a strong and determinate man with a purpose to help others do the same and or better. Come and run with me... it make sense and it is fun!
Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish.

My Comfort Zone
I use to have a Comfort Zone
Where I knew I couldn’t fail
The same four walls of busy work
Were really more like jail.
I longed so much to do the things
I’d never done before,
But I stayed inside my Comfort Zone
And paced the same old floor
I claimed to be so busy
With the things inside my zone,
But deep inside I longed for
Something special of my own.
I couldn’t let my life go by,
Just watching others win.
I held my breath and stepped outside
And let the change begin.
I took a step and with new strength
I’d never felt before,
I kissed my Comfort Zone ‘goodbye’
And closed and locked the door.
If you are in a Comfort Zone,
Afraid to venture out,
Remember that all winners were
At one time filled with doubt.
A step or two and words of praise,
Can make your dreams come true.
Greet your future with a smile,
Success is there for you!

my path
I can see it and I love to reach it…
How can I reach it,
Day after day I work hard and dream of the joy.
Why I did not reach it yet?
I am not ready?
Do I have to work more on my self growth?
I need to focus more on my daily meditation practice?
Life have not been easy but I am happy to have reached this age…
Will I be able to continue and make a healthier difference?
Living life here is a pleasure and knowing I am loved is grand.
Working on my projects and succeeding give me pleasure.
Knowing others benefit at any level, give me more pleasure.
It is possible to survive and be happy at every moment?
Every day I strive to achieve that goal with God as my Guide.
I love to be joined by you… please come along, we will make it!

This is a friend loving message to all...
Tonight I had this conversation with my little boy while I was tucking him into bed: “How do you know I love you?” I asked him “You tell me 2 billion times a day,” he replied. “If I didn’t tell you, how would you know? I asked. “I can feel it in your hugs,” he said. That really got me.
This valentine day coming... who will feel your love from your hugs?
Happy Valentine Day to you and yours...
